Place candle on a heat-resistant, stable surface away from drafts, flammable materials, and anything that can catch fire. Always trim the wooden wick to approximately 3–5 mm (1/8–3/16 inch) before each use to ensure a safe, clean burn. Do not burn the candle for more than 3–4 hours at a time. Allow the wax to cool and solidify before relighting. Keep the wax pool free of debris, matches, and wick trimmings. Stop use when approximately 1 cm (1/2 inch) of wax remains at the bottom of the container. The container may become hot during use. Allow it to cool completely before handling.
